Howdy! Welcome to our Home on the Web! We are Russell and Jill Drennan and are located near Houston, Texas. We are a small kennel, focusing on quality not quantity. We don't produce lots of puppies and average one litter about every 1.5 - 2 years. At times we do have older puppies and dogs available to good homes. If you are looking for a companion and do not want to go through the "puppy stages", contact us we may have an older puppy or dog available! We believe it's important to OFA and CERF all of our dogs. We also believe that only the best that we produce should be bred to continue our lines. All Akitas are sold with a written contract and health guarantee. Companion Akitas are sold with a Limited Registration and on a Spay/Neuter contract. Show prospects are sold with a Show contract. Show prospects that do not quite make it are also neutered and placed in loving homes. We have had Akitas since 1984, have had 8 litters and 1 co-bred litter since 1989. We have produced 12 champions from those litters. Our last litter is doing well in the ring. Four of the five girls are in show homes, three have finished their championships, and the other one needs a major and a few singles to finish.
